Exotic Car Of The Week - 034
This week's featured car in our 'Exotic Car Of The Week' series is the Audi RS6 Avant. A car that needs little introduction, the Audi RS6 Avant is quite simply one of the most gorgeous station wagons available on the market, if not one of the most gorgeous cars - period (in our opinion). With supercar-like performance and bundles of space for the whole family, the RS6 can do pretty much everything. Powered by an incredible 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox that could easily be confused as a dual-clutch system it's so smooth, the RS6 is powered by a monstrous twin-turbo V8 that generates a whopping 592HP, and even though that may never be needed for a family wagon, it sure is nice to have.
Dive into a world of high performance with this exceptional station wagon designed by our friends down at the Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. The RS6 Avant signals a new era of performance for the traditional wagons with its exclusive design specs and engine power. From a long roof to pristine bodywork and fast pacing drivetrain, the RS6 Avant is said to surpass its rivals quickly and easily.
As much as Audi loves sophistication, this feeling is mutually dominant in the RS6 Avant’s interior. From a cutting-edge infotainment system and a dashboard that looks like something from the forthcoming century, the interior of the car is fully advanced in many ways. To please your aesthetics, you will get premium faux and leather upholstery on the seats, door handles, and steering wheel of the car. As far as space is concerned, the interior of RS6 offers 20 cubic feet of cargo volume in the rear seats. The rear seats can be folded to clear up to 59 cubic feet of cargo space. Front seats are comfortable and ventilated with a head-up display screen.
Audi has granted an impressive 592 hp to the RS6 Avant by installing a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine equipped with a wonderfully smooth 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox. The carbon-ceramic brake option allows the top speed of the vehicle to exceed 190mph (305km/h). 0-62mph (0-100km/h) is achieved in a humble 3.6 seconds and with Audi's new launch control mode these numbers can be achieved in a pretty drastic way.
